Machinist Apprentice, (Full Time /Seasonal)

Responsible for the setting up and operation of manual mills and lathes needed to perform efficient machining operations in accordance to the blueprints.
Used optical and manual calibration devices for the measurement and inspection of parts, in comparison to blueprints for proper dimensions and tolerances
Operation of an automatic saw and precision equipment for various projects. Manufactured a wide variety of stationary and moving parts. As an example, my duties involved the machining of an array of parts for use in thirteen of the 2022 “Rose Parade” floats. A significant involvement was manufacturing parts for the hydraulic equipment required for the moving parts, as well as, structural components for float construction.
Completed highly involved, and controlled machining of components of themed elements for use at Disneyland’s “World of Color 2022”.
My fabrication experience represents the machining of components which have been used in other renowned theme parks, major entertainment companies, landmarks in communities, in addition to businesses, media and fashion brands.

I was an active member and participant on the Mt. San Antonio College Robotics Team. Their objective was to design and build complex robotics. During my four years on the (Mt. SAC) Robotics Team, their team went on to win two championships.
As a member of their elite robotics team, it was my design of an Electric Vehicle which was selected to become the “Mazda Project Vehicle”. Whereby I was an integral participant, instrumental in the process to design and build their project car.

Mt. San Antonio College, DSPS - (Disabled Students Program), I worked with “Brain Injury Services” by assisting individuals using (ABI) Computer software to improve cognitive skills (attention, memory, reasoning, etc.), for academic and vocational skills that helped disabled individuals adjust.
