Wrote the RFP and negotiated the State of Georgia's Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) contract with Accenture LLC and pegged the cost to $24.9 million as well as monitored the successful implementation of the contract. I managed this contract, and the project was completed on schedule and without any change order resulting in cost increase.

In January 2008, negotiated the State of Georgia Food Stamp Portal contract with Deloitte Plc. and secured a reduced project completion time by 6 months and a cost saving of $0.55millon to the state.

Introduced a purchasing procedure in 2004 which involved No Financial outlay i.e., Zero Cost to DHR by developing an RFP and negotiated the contract for an electronic payment for Child Support remittances to custodial parents and payroll for DHR staffers at no cost. This led to $6.0 million savings per annum for the state. It should be noted that this effort is now a model for many states in the country and it has been successfully adopted and used by more than ten states. The payroll portion is now being emulated for statewide implementation in the State of Georgia through the State Accounting Office.

Introduced a purchasing procedure which involved substantial financial contribution by the vendors in the form of match, to help in the execution of projects for DHR. This is different from grantor's mandated match.

Led various offices/divisions of DHR to negotiate complex contracts and contract disputes to the benefit of the department.
