• Contacting debtors via phone calls, emails or contacting them in person, informing them of their obligations and due dates and responding to queries or disputes regarding debt balances.
• Negotiating repayment plans that work for both the debtor and the company and offering settlements or alternative payment options when appropriate.
• Reviewing overdue accounts and identifying those requiring collection efforts and keeping accurate records of outstanding balances and payment history.
• Maintaining detailed records of all communications and transactions and preparing regular reports on collections progress.
• Ensuring all collection activities comply with local debt collection laws and regulations and coordinating with legal terms when legal action is required.
