Responsibilities included: As Facility Project Manager acquired additional space for personnel in Crystal City (Polk/Taylor), Fort Belvoir, and several outlying PEO EIS program offices/buildings while developing detailed plans and managing assigned tasks for smooth working. Achieved major improvements and managed numerous renovations, including requests for floor plans, and electrical and network work with negotiated timelines. Successfully, led a team to dispose of over 4 tons of metal and wood material and saved $150K in rent by eliminating the need for additional storage to participate in continuous process improvements. Spearheaded efforts to reconfigure current square footage to accommodate more personnel by using stand-up desks and chairs to maximize the footprint and save over $220K for our program offices. As Facility Manager chaired Space Optimization with the PEO to maximize the square footage without compromising the health and safety of our personnel during COVID for over 11 facilities.
Key Accomplishments:
Directed the redesign and configuration of personnel space and offices, while ensuring regulations were followed to submit for review and approval. This resulted in savings of thousands of dollars for the government over 2 years. Improved collaboration efforts with stakeholders, while providing clear oversight and management to real estate and facilities, Washington Headquarters Services, Fort Belvoir Department of Public Works, and Fort Belvoir.

Developed achievable short and long-range program objectives for facilities. Rendered responsibilities as antiterrorism officer for NC2 building and AT Level 1 awareness training coordinator; adeptly held bi-monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual training, exercises, and drills with emergency preparedness and notifications. Developed a consolidated prioritized funding list of protection enhancements for both James Polk and Zachary Taylor with the Office of the Administrative Assistant (OAA), resulting in a plan to spend $6.5M. Completed AR 5-10 Stationing Action to relocate PM AESIP onto Fort Belvoir out of the National Capital Region (NCR); saved PMO over $1M annually in rent and utilities, and put roughly $120 month back into pockets of affected 170 personnel. Collected, reviewed, and processed annual DD Form 1144 Support Agreement for rent of more than $6.5M, DD Form 1450, and DoD Space Requirements data sheet in compliance with the organization’s policies & procedures. Created project-scheduled moves for leased facilities around the NCR for 7 agencies from Alexandria to Arlington, Virginia, and after that from Alexandria to Fort Belvoir. Chaired 4 monthly meetings; generating a lot of oversight from OAA Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and Pentagon Force Protection Agency leadership.
Key Accomplishments:
Successfully executed two real-world evacuations due to emergent issues without injury in accordance with prescribed and written measures by the DO’s office. Skillfully escalated root causes and implemented corrective measures.
