INNOVATIVE MECHANICAL ENGINEER
I am a meticulous and innovative mechanical engineer who will add value to your projects, whether they are new concepts or require sustaining work. I will apply my experience, technical and CAD design skills, creativity, resourcefulness, and mechanical aptitude to achieve your project goals.
SKILLS AND TRAINING
CAD: SolidWorks since 2008, Autodesk Inventor since 2017, Pro/E (now PTC Creo) since 1995. FEA: Trained in ANSYS Mechanical in 2012, SolidWorks Simulation in 2007, ProE Mechanica 2005. Aerospace competency: compliance with NASA standards and policies; trained in Agile methodology (Jira). Detailed drawings and assemblies according to ASME Y14.5 including GD&T. Expert at packaging electronics efficiently in enclosures and housings for harsh environments to resist temperature, pressure, corrosion, radiation, and shock and vibration. Designed electrical components: connectors, antennas, transformers, inductors, harnesses, and piezo sensors. Designed assemblies to be embedded in composites, potting compounds, or protected by engineering plastics. Process and patent writing, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, Design for 3D Printing. Six Sigma Green Belt Certified 2012, White Belt Certified 2005. Specified metals and plating per AISI, NACE, MIL and ISO specifications. Other training: PDM systems (SAP, SPDM, CWI), nuclear safety, TRIZ. Member ASME. CAREER EXPERIENCE
