When I started work here, I was hired as the assistant safety director, however the passing of the man above me moved me into the safety director position. Doing both field and all administrating as well. I have dealt with law suits, insurance, both auto and work comp and did training, new hire orientation. Bravo does gas pipeline’ water, sewer, and power projects. I was laid-off due to a lack of work and company financial issues.
Canyon Electric @ Nevada Test Site March 2021 to July-2022 This project was overseeing the evacuation and transfer of fuel from two above ground fuel storage tanks which involved massive grounding and several confined space entries (all permit required) as well as working closely with MSTS (site environmental personnel as well as the I H Department). On this project I started as Safety only and took over the project as superintendent in the absence of Jeff Boatwright to complete the project. All test site projects are 4-day 10-hour shifts, with some exceptions like the U1A bore hole that was 96’ in diameter 1500’ deep 24-7 from start to finish. Cal Electro Nevada Test Site at the DAF Substation November 2020 to March-2021 Overseeing the building of electrical controls and grounding of perimeter fencing and drilling and placement of ground rods for the project. This is a highly secured area on the Test Site requiring a high level of clearance from the Department of Energy. The work was completed on time and under budget. Superintendent at Mercury Nevada Test site project for U1A Lines stop project. This Project was completed under budget and ahead of schedule. I was then asked to move to a project in Mercury to oversee it as the safety lead over both our workers and at the 23-460 building which involved taking control of sub-contractors compliance and overseeing the completion of the electrical for both the buildings and parking lot lights and bases, as well as the bollards for the sidewalk lightening and ensuring the landscape and parking lot were completed 100%. Consultant for both Construction and Mining Operations I have had a badge for the Mercury Test site under the DOE (Department of Energy) doing a bore hole for a project and after the site was completed Canyon Electric my employer was set for other projects on the test site that were canceled due to Covid 19 Virus.
I have been hired to walk active projects and mining sites to identify hazards and non-compliance issues. Doing both the training for new miners as well as OSHA 10- and 30-Hour training for the work force. Site audits, and walk through, checking for confined space issues, machine and belting safeguards and making sure workers understand the risk and hazards they are dealing with. My goal was to return each worker to full duty as soon as possible and to keep in contact with the worker to maintain positive outlooks regarding his/her return. Light duty was always a priority not lost time.

I worked for AGC doing both site safety inspections and safety training for their contractors and their subs. This job was an interim position due to the health problems of one of their full-time inspectors. New-Com was contacted by AGC about me on a Friday and I started at New-Com the following Monday. 4
During my career and believing strongly in safety incentive programs, I developed and implemented Employee Safety incentive programs which were based on quarterly hours worked, 500 hours per quarter. I developed union and nonunion safety committees both for job sites as well as company policy and procedure regarding safety and training. I worked closely with all operation managers for each division, coordinated training, OSHA 10- and 30-hour classes, excavation, trenching-fall protection, scaffolds and many other classes per OSHA 1926 and 1910 standards. MSHA training for crushing operations, Part 46-48, Air-Way Rock Products inclusive of First Aid and CPR Training was taught and coordinated outside training for specific areas: Nevada Power, Southwest Gas and Clark County Air Quality.
