• Responsible for sorting out the different types of species that came in on every boat between Sockeye, Chum, COHO and Pinks.

• Fish house is the area we get to clean the inside of the fish pull out any guts or broken fish pulled them to the side. We determined if the fish was in good conditions inside and out before sending the fish to get frozen.

• In the fillet section we were responsible for the quality of the fish if it had any bruising, blood spots, belly burns just an overall freshness and quality.

• I got personally a chance to be a Quality Assurance Lead and I had to make sure that in the process of the fish coming in that our processors knew how to identify the difference in quality depending the type of species.
