Reviews, comments, and approves submittals of Contractors PQP, QCP(s), ITP(s) including QC-procedures (such as Inspection/Test, Audit, NCR, NDT, Consumable, Tractability etc.) and drawings mechanical. Also, WPS, WQR, MTC, FAT, SAT etc.

Review all necessary documents for latest revision per Standards Cut-Off date approved in the project, IFC stamp (Shop/Isometric Drawings, Layout & Plot Plan Drawings, Piping Arrangement, Gen. Assembly, Support Drawings, P & ID etc.) which are to be use in the project.

Raw material inspection on Duplex stainless steel, SS pipes, carbon steel pipe, fittings, PE-materials, GRE pipes, plates, forgings, castings, welding and painting consumables, equipment’s are following specified requirements and project specification.

Inspection of Welders testing like NON IBR’s, & IBR’s recruitment by following ASME codes and standards.

Preparation of welding documents such as Welding Procedure specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) records, Welder Continuity Records, Weld maps, Repair Welding procedures and Preheat & Post heat procedures, Procedures for Control & storage of welding consumables.

Good introduction with ASME SEC. VIII, SEC IX, SEC V, SEC II, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, & ASME B31.8, AWS D 1.1, API 620, API 650, API 1104, ASTM STD's, IS STD's, NACE, SSPC, and DNV Rules for Sub-Sea Pipeline Laying.

Material dispatch inspection like offshore A790 duplex 2205-line pipe, Subsea manifolds, and ancillaries (Cobra heads, Inboard and outboard MQC plates etc.).

Perform inspection/witness required Testing as per SATIP’s/ITP’s and furnish required reports for documentation.

Monitor site/fabrication activities for compliance with the applicable codes, standards, project specification, procedures, and method statements, as well as issuance of NCR if non-compliance is found.

Check all materials and compare with material received vouchers or Aramco out band, material take off, purchase order, and purchase request as per isometric drawing.

Reviewing the mechanical procedure specification for valve testing, internal Cleaning, hydro test, pneumatic test, Materials handling and storage, preservation of Valves.

Perform pre-inspection/line inspection – punch listing and punch “A” clearing prior to any test (Gravity, Leak, Hydro, Pneumatic,) including review of test packages to ensure that all required documents are correct and available using only approved test report forms.

Monitoring inspection activities as per approved Inspection & Test plans, Witnessing the destructive testing for procedure qualifications test coupons, welder qualification test coupons & reviewing the Test reports.

Check High Pressure Parts of Boiler ground inspection (Power Cycle Piping).

Inspection of materials and welding consumables as per specification.

Check out Panels, Coils, fit up checking, weld visual & NDT works.

Interpretation of Radiographic Films for Pressure Vessel, Structural and pipe welding.

Arrange the all-alloy steel welding, welding procedure as per IBR and erection welding schedule like-T12, P12, T-22, P-22, and T-91 &P-91.

Monitoring NDT activities and review of NDT procedures, NDT reports & interpretation of RT films.

Preparation of QA/QC documents and Prepare/Review of WPS, PQR & witnessing of WPQT.

Interpretation and evaluation of PT, MPT, UT & RT tests as per ASME SEC V, VIII & IX, ASME B31.3 ASME B31.1 and Customer Specifications.

Witnessing of Hydro test, Pneumatic test, oil & chalk test, smoke test, vacuum test, eddy current testing of tubes, PMI test, UT, MPT, DPT, etc.

Witnessed Qualification of Welding Procedure Specification and Procedure Qualifications as per ASME SEC.IX, BS EN 288 and API 1104.

Witnessing the Qualification test of welders, welding operators and selection of filler metals as per ASME SEC. IX, SEC.II PART.C.

Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for all violations generated by the Construction, Sub-contractors and investigate the causes of non-conforming items and initiate corrective actions to prevent recurrence of nonconformities.

Ensure that the documentation generated by the inspections, Request for Inspection (RFI), Checklists, test and surveillance meets the requirements of the Project Quality Plan.

Identify root cause of problems, analyze, and develop remedial actions working with shop floor and engineers.

Coordination with Client Quality Inspectors to organize and monitor the stage inspections required of respective disciplines at project.

Ensure the Company that Clients/Third-Party Inspectors are satisfied in all aspects of the work, test, and inspection by conforming to project requirements and have signed all necessary documents, test reports as acceptance.

Document preparation / Correspondence with Contractor & responsible to attend, minute & Follow-up of the contractor’s weekly meeting.

Prepare the regular Site progress reports for the mechanical QA/QC related part as required by the Project/Site Manager (weekly and monthly).
