Present: History Teacher Eastbrook Academy
History Teacher at Eastbrook Academy is responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive history instruction to students in grades 8th grade U.S. Hisotry, 10th grade Government, and 11th grade A.P. US History. By fostering a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, inquiry, and a deep understanding of historical events and their implications. A commitment to academic excellence, a passion for history, and the ability to inspire students.This includes designing engaging lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.Integrateion of primary and secondary sources, technology, and other resources to enhance learning experiences and assess student progress through various methods, including quizzes, tests, essays, and projects. Acting summer school principal at Lutheran Pilgrim in Milwaukee, overseeing and managing the summer school program through the Center for Urban Training. Responsibilities included conducting classroom observations to ensure effective teaching practices and providing constructive feedback to educators. Coordinating logistical aspects of the program, such as ordering lunch and breakfast through MCFI, ensuring students have access to nutritious meals. Additionally, review lesson plans to ensure they meet educational standards and address the diverse needs of students. Facilitation of professional development opportunities for teachers, focusing on enhancing instructional strategies and classroom management techniques. A significant part of the role involved supporting the development and maintenance of a positive classroom culture and addressing behavior issues, promoting a safe and conducive learning environment for all students. 4

2020- Strategic Marketing Specialist
Responsible for the promotion and maintenance of the non-profit Fit Oshkosh Inc, Color Brave Lending Library. Created and launched our fundraising initiative to increase monetary donations. Over the course of 3 months, I increased social media engagement by 90% in the first quarter. Increased collaboration with educational institutions through the Oshkosh Area School District. Coordinated events to be hosted including our Unsung Hero Event and Financial Literacy Night. Implemented Color Brave Live Reads to increase community engagement and Hosted Racial Literacy Live Chats via social media to inform the public of new arrivals and current news regarding the Library.
2018-2019 Account Executive- Oshkosh Herald
Responsible for cold calling an increasing number of advertisers to expand readership and distribution and creating ad layout and design for a weekly publication. Included the creation of ads to maximize clients’ marketing strategy and engagement. Converted prospective and current clients to long-term relationships.
