Responsible for managing the Township office. Duties included issuing zoning, building and road occupancy permits to residents; answered questions on township ordinances and resolutions either by email, telephone or mail; maintained the Township's bookkeeping using QuickBooks that involved cutting checks for bills and payroll for approval by the Board of Supervisors on a biweekly basis, depositing or withdrawing money from different banks either electronically or physically which required being bonded; paid federal, state and local taxes monthly and quarterly; took minutes of biweekly meetings; placed legal advertisements in newspapers for future public meetings, budget announcements, etc.; prepared the budget for the forthcoming year for the supervisors' approval; prepared numerous forms and surveys for federal, state and county in order to receive allocations for firefighters' relief funds, pension, liquid fuel and sewage enforcement. Assisted in preparing a quarterly Township newsletter sent to the residents using Publisher software.

Communicated with the insurance provider for the company's workers' compensation on any employee accidents and was very involved with the company's Safety Committee Program, conducting safety audits, preparing route cause analysis reports and reporting any accidents to the insurance provider.

Facilitator for Imagine Pa. Responsible for insuring that all 17th Floor employees were knowledgeable in inputting their leave online when Wave 4 went live on March 8, 2003.

Assisted unemployment claimants regarding the status of their claims by requesting Central Office staff to follow up or by emailing the appropriate Unemployment Compensation Service Center.

Researched and compared seven different cell phone purchase plans that would meet the Deputy for Unemployment Compensation Programs' needs, including cost effectiveness.
