Manage 2 group homes and an Independent Living program and staff. I am responsible for training, and orientations. I do staffing, workers comp and I prepare payroll each week. Clientele consists of those with behavioral health and intellectual disabilities. Ages range from 25 years of age to seniors. I monitor documentation for accuracy and make sure we are compliant with state and mental health requirements. I perform Unannounced visits to assure compliance with various state programs. I create Incident Management Reports and hold bi-weekly meetings. Staff evaluations, counseling, and problem solving are also a part of my job. I am certified to give medications and do so when necessary. I actually do whatever it takes to care for the individuals.
