Duties:
• Preparation of monthly report on premiums, commission, claims and policy count.
• Processing and drafting of correspondence on coinsurance, reinsurance, commissions, claims, renewals
and mortgage assignments.
• Prepare statements of account, debit notes and quotations for insurance premiums.
• Calculate premiums, refunds, commissions and adjustments using premium insurance rates and tables.
• Receive premium payments and deposit such cheques with account department for receipt.
• Notify broker(s) and other related agents/partners on policies that are due for renewal.

• Checking of cost sheet, time sheet, invoice and confirmation forms.
• Dispatch of timesheet to Claims and Documentation office for billing of the agents for work done on the
vessels.

Corporate Printing Section (GPHA Press)
Duties:
• Making of all relevant documents needed for port operations such container condition and interchange
report waybill, plant hire billing form, vehicle condition report, receipts, transport loading advice,
delivery note, direct delivery tally sheet, delivery tally sheet, vehicle appointment notice, pedestrian and
car park toll, etc.
• Making of field note books and exercise books which include piercing, sewing, gluing, cutting and
trimming of books.
• Making of Pharmacy envelopes and patient folders for the International Maritime Hospital and the
Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) Clinic.
