Relevant Experience

Domino’s, Lusby, MD Nov 2019 – Aug 2024

Delivery Driver

Developing skills that apply to a workplace environment such as work ethic, time management, customer service, and coworker interactions.

Nov 2019 – August 2021, I worked part-time (15-20 Hours) while also attending College of Southern Maryland (CSM) for my Associate’s Degree in Computer Science.

Aug 2023 – Aug 2024, I worked full-time (35-40 Hours)

Scientific Research Corporation, California, MD May 2019 – Jul 2019

Intern, Software Developer

Worked as a subcontractor to American Electronic Warfare Associates (AMEWAS) supporting the Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) program. The NGTS is a continuously evolving, synthetic environment generator that models threat and friendly aircraft, ground units, ships, submarines, and associated weapons, sensors, and subsystems.

Worked as a programmer in a team environment utilizing C++ code to develop, modify, and test applications and software in support of NGTS program requirements.

Held Secret Clearance.

Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD Jul 2018 – Sep 2018

Pathways Intern, Logistics Strategic Operations

Worked with a team to create a new lab, called the Logistics Interactive Virtual Environment (LIVE) Lab, with the goal of taking logistics in a more digital direction.

One of the primary functions of the lab is to create and/or test virtual simulations (e.g. virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence) and digital tools to support naval aviation logistics. I supported the specification of lab requirements including software tools, developing a data management and data storage plan, and designing the laboratory layout.

Held Secret Clearance.

Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD Jun 2016 – Aug 2016

Pathways Intern, Human Computer Interaction Branch

Worked with a team to create and test various types of aircraft user interfaces for use in aircraft simulations and ultimately naval aircraft.

Notable Projects

Capstone Project: Project Eldoria, UMGC Capstone in Computer Science May 2025 – Jun 2025

For my Capstone class, the other students and I had to get into groups (max of 3) and we could either choose a project to do from a list, or come up with a project with the permission of the professor. One of my classmates proposed making a game that I happily volunteered to be a part of. Nicknamed Project Eldoria, me and two of my classmates created an Alpha Build of a 2D Top-Down Dungeon Crawler. Given the duration of the class (8 Weeks), we needed to come up with a development plan, have team meetings, schedule online collaboration days (since none of us lived in the same area), and assign tasks for each other to do. Within those 8 Weeks, we ended up creating a workable Menu Screen, a Character select screen with two playable characters, the actual game with player controlled movements and active enemy AI, and a Game Over screen and Victory Screen depending on if you win or lose.

oMy contributions to the project included:

Character and Art Design

Sprite Design and Animation

Coding for controlling of Player Characters

Coding for Hitboxes and Damage Visuals

Coding of the Character Select screen

Coding of the Game Over and Victory Screen

oWhen we submitted our Project over different intervals, we got an overall Grade of an A along with a comment from our Professor saying, and I quote, “This is the most ambitious and well put-together project I have seen all year out of this class. I am really impressed your group was able to take on this project and produce a working product with no game-breaking and little to no in-game glitches.”

Web Programming Projects, UMGC: Web Programming May 2025 – Jul 2025

Separate as well as cumulative assignments that tested my knowledge on designing and applying HTML, SQL, and JavaScript code into creating all manners of user-interactive websites.

oOne project in particular was implementing a Class Registration that’ll allow students to register as well as drop classes. We first needed to create an SQL database that had the classes listing their class code, # of credits, and class name for each entry in the database which would be shown in a selection table through the JavaScript code. Next we needed to make a register button that takes the class we selected and put it into a List of Registered Class. Same for a Drop Button that looks for the class in our Registered List we want to drop. On top of all of that, we needed to apply conditions that keeps classes from being registered if they were either:

1) Already registered, or

2) Exceeded a maximum amount of credits (9 Credits per Semester)

All of this also needed to show up through a local host URL created through the use of a web design application called AMPPS.

Compiler Projects, UMGC: Advanced Programming Languages Jan 2025 – Mar 2025

and Compiler Theory and Design

Completed a set of separate and cumulative projects that tested my understanding of not only C++ coding, but also the understanding and the process of parsing code through a lexer without the need of a dedicated compiler (like Eclipse or Visual Studio) through the use Tokens and Command Prompt requests.

oThe final project of Advanced Programming Languages (APL) had us assign and implement Tokens through a lexer as well as design the process of the parser in order to recognize a paragraph of words. The parser is designed to recognize the literary semantics and syntaxes of a grammatically correct sentence (Nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.)

oThe final project of Compiler Theory and Design builds on our knowledge from APL (Since APL is a pre-requisite of Compiler Theory Design) and has us design a parser and lexer that recognizes C++ coding key words (If-Else, For, While, etc.), numbers (0-9), and mathematical symbols (+, -, *, /, etc.). Not only that, but we also had to modify and test our code with a variety of mathematical equations to not only recognize these Tokens, but to also actually solve said equations too. By the end of the class, we were able to create a working compiler for a Calculator as our final project.

o

Arduino Projects, CSM Computer Architecture Class Mar 2023 – May 2023

Completed three projects that tested my C/C++ coding skills through the use of an Arduino Board. The highlight of the three projects was creating a four-way traffic stop light that incorporated a pedestrian crosswalk as well as an audible sensor for the visually impaired.

GUI Project, CSM Computer Science II Class Aug 2022 – Oct 2022

Completed a project that tested my use of Java as well as using Java FX and Java Swing by creating a Graphical User Interface (GUI) from scratch on the Java Eclipse Software. The GUI simulated an airline flight service with several dropdown menus and check boxes to select flight options and compute the total cost.

Milhaven Online, Becker College Game Studio Aug 2017 – May 2018

Worked with a team of approximately 25 faculty and students on the creation of a Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game titled Milhaven Online as a 2D Concept Designer primarily developing characters and objects (equipment, environment, etc.).

Orc Nursery, Becker College Game Studio Aug 2016 – May 2017

Worked with a team of approximately 10 faculty and students on the development of a game titled Orc Nursery as a 2D Concept Designer, User Interface Designer, and 3D Prop Modeler.
