Prior authorizations for Six Providers on outpatient hospital procedures and in office procedures, getting prior authorization for medications, scans, scheduling referrals, scheduling patients for test that is required for their treatment.
Communicating with Veteran’s Administration, pulling their referrals from HSRM that number is above 500 patients pulling the VA records and scanning into their chart.
No other person in the office deals with any of the above, answering incoming calls, pulling medical records, from Cerner, Citrix, HSRM, Star, Dar Athena, workers comp, very fast pace, check in and check out patients, collecting reports and test results for upcoming appointments, collecting payments, daily deposits.
Also I am the go to person in the office, If the hospital has anything that is required for the patient such as Cardiac Clearance and surgery is in two days I had to make sure the patient is set to get cleared for the upcoming procedure.
So extremely high pressure. If it takes 12 hours to get my cases approved I will put 12 hours or whatever it takes to make our office goes as scheduled.
I had to take off from this employment due to medical problem, And they stated they could not hold my job due to my medical issues.
