Brief Detail:

Performed surveys of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems of project sites to assess equipment condition, life expectancy, maintenance quality and budget replacement costs. Performed AS-BUILT reconciliation (Field Walk-down), design calculations, equipment research & selection, sketches, specifications drawings. Prepare preliminary layouts and plans. Coordinate design efforts with other project personnel to avoid design conflicts and confirm space control, schedule and layout optimization. Evaluate manufacturers or contractor’s proposals, data, and reports for conformance with standard code(s) and criteria. Maintain records, lists, schedule, for engineering projects. Using AutoCad prepared an entire layout of a 480,000 SF(Komag Corp.) manufacturing building consisting of architectural floor plans, equipment layout, electrical conduits, Lighting, fire protection, clean room facilities, benches, cubical layout, HVAC duct work, and a great deal of neatness, degrees of accuracy, and completeness. As a facility engineer worked in the development of D2 Class One Clean Room at Intel Corp., Santa Clara Division. Duties included the Process piping of DI Water, AR, O2, H2, N2, NH3, SiH4, FH3, HCl, H2SO4, CDA. Also detailed equipment pre and post installation layouts and as- built drawing. Responsible for the selection and layout of all the fittings and all equipment sub-floor connections details. Attend regular meetings with project staff and contractors.
