I am applying for the Instrumentation Technician position in which I have had a great deal of experience with including wiring machinery, building control panels and the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery that utilize PLC’s and Drives. Presently I am working in the Genzyme Biologics Metrology Department as a Senior Lead Calibrations Technician. Having both the experience of a Facilities Control Technician/Supervisor and Metrology Technician on process equipment and instrumentation enables me to excel in my profession.
My 40 years of experience has given me an excellent background in all phases of equipment maintenance, process control and design. I also believe my 25 years as a Genzyme and Rentschler BioPharma employee has proven my abilities to perform general repairs and preventative maintenance activities on cGMP process equipment, utility systems and plant utility equipment as directed. I am hopeful that I will be given the opportunity to prove my abilities as an Instrumentation Technician with your company. I have always strived to be the best in my previous positions and I am confident I will be successful in this position as well.
Respectfully Yours
William F. Sweeney
