Professional History: Navy Veteran with 42 years of federal government service primarily working with the Department of Public Works. My final position before retiring was a Facilities Management Specialists. In that position I managed work order processes, facilitated working relationships with various general and specialized contractors, coordinated with installation prime utilities providers and infrastructure maintenance.
I conducted before, during and after construction conferences for major construction and modification projects. I developed cost estimates for projects of various sizes, within the scope of my work. I performed quality assurance inspections to assure contract compliance and submitted warranty, rework and contract modification updates. I handled customer complaints and liaised with contractors to rectify complaints.
I am familiar with Hazardous Material and Hazardous Waste handling and storage procedures. I worked closely with the fire, security, and law enforcement divisions to ensure code compliance within their requisite standards.
