• Enterprised, produced, and executed an in-depth report on the historic cultural dichotomy between Cuban citizens as the newly appointed leader of the country was being challenged to make changes to the nation’s economic and immigration policies.

• Presented an eye-opening story about the state of politics and civil un-rest on the island of Haiti, which lead to violence and destruction after the assassination of the President.

• Conducted an exclusive live interview with Olympic Track and Field athlete, Gwen Berry after facing backlash for peacefully protesting during the 2021 Olympic trials, which gave her the platform to tell her personal truth after being slandered by other news outlets who had not spoken with her.

• Recruited as the new host of the iconic educational brand as it was revived for a new season which aired on ABC nationwide on weekend mornings throughout the year of 2021.

• Executed all on-camera hosting duties on location in Malibu, California.

• Collaborated with producers to select the best path for each shot based on the sun’s position for the best lighting, and to create for diverse and dynamic “jib” camera shots.

• Voice recorded all narrative aspects of each episode in remote audio booth sessions in

collaboration with show producers.

• Curated and provided individual wardrobe for on-camera shoot.

Anchor/Host WVIT-TV, Hartford, CT June 2018 to June 2020

• Anchor, host and feature reporter executing all phases of news gathering from story development, shooting, writing, editing, and presenting multiple live shots per day.

• Recruited to be 1 of 2 founding personalities of the lifestyle/entertainment brand for NBC Universal with the company’s first show of this genre, entitled “CT-Live!” The show model we created was used to produce shows of the same variety at NBC O&O stations in Las Vegas, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

• Creatively presented sales-driven content as entertaining and engaging to viewers while promoting local businesses and organizations in the community.

• Independently scripted and executed numerous filmed conversations with the Regional Director of “Comcast Xfinity” about various products and features in order to capture a new audience.

• Played a key role in boosting revenue for the station by bringing in clients and creating effective sales-driven content that had successful impacts on their businesses.

• Produced and field reported on a story called “A Day in the life of a Hockey Goalie”, where I suited up with the Hartford Wolfpack hockey team, going through goalie position drills and more with an effort to highlight the team’s presence in the city.

• Produced and executed dozens of daily live, interactive, liveshots as the solo feature reporter for WTEN.

• Produced and hosted “Jimmy’s Ice Cream Challenge”, which involved traveling to eight local ice cream shops in Albany, NY and the surrounding towns for separate liveshots highlighting each place during a morning newscast.

• Produced and hosted “The Tulip Tent”, in partnership with the mayor’s office during the city’s yearly Tulip Fest Celebration. It involved camping in Washington Park in the center of the city for 3 days to execute liveshots and content for all shows. All donations received went to the mayor’s non-profit fund to assist local organizations with their missions.

• Served as “Trackside Reporter” at the Saratoga Racetrack for two-consecutive summers. Researched, produced, filmed, edited, and reporter as an MMJ, while telling stories that surrounded the races from stories about the horses and their training, to off-track betting, interviewing hall-of-fame jockeys, covering special events and narrating the overall experience of the classic event.
