(now Berrett-Kohler), requested authorship of a second book on contract types. While drafting the book, I worked for several companies throughout the United States for supplemental income. CH2M required a director of contracts for a large construction project nearing its end at General Electric in Cincinnati, OH. Assisted owner of Charles F. Day & Associates, a Stafford, VA 8(a) firm, in completing contracts and conducting closeout activity as the principal was retiring. Performed consulting work for several companies.

Senior Director of Contracts and Operations 12/2009 to 07/2011 BAE SYSTEMS, SECURITY AND SURVIVABILITY West Chester OH BAE Systems, Security & Survivability was a $1 billion dollar division of BAE Systems, Inc. It integrated a broad range of survivability technologies, including the following: active protection systems, advanced ballistic armor for military and civilian vehicles, nuclear, biological and chemical survivability, detection avoidance, aircraft seats, and parachutes.

• Led a joint improvement team (JIT) in conjunction with TACOM management culminating in significantly improved relations between the teams. Major General Kurt J. Stein commended the team before BAE Systems executive management for a job well done.

• Led team that improved on time deliveries from 40% to 96% to TACOM.
