*Supervise a staff of 23 Payroll Coordinators in 10 different states, preparing work schedules, implementing goals and procedures. Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll.
*Manage onboarding system for new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations according to payroll laws, company policies and regulations. Maintain payroll accounts and files for all employees, including federal and state tax forms, direct deposit information, processed I9 forms, background checks.
*Process employee garnishments, child support, income holding orders and benefit-related payroll deductions and submit payments to required agencies.
*Provide training related to payroll, timekeeping, expense reporting, 401K, FSA and HSA for all employees and managers.
*Resolve payroll inquiries (paychecks, W2 questions, bonus payments, etc). Update of all payroll maintenance; PTO (paid time off) eligibility and set up. Track leave time such as vacation, personal and sick leave for employees.
*Process time and attendance records, making adjustments and corrections in Swipe Clock timekeeping system prior to uploading to the payroll system on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
*Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, unemployment and medical insurance. Compile reports, statements and summaries related to pay and benefit accounts then submit to appropriate departments.
*Conduct verifications of employment.
*Receive, record, and authorize reports for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
*Send 401K file of employee deductions and employer match to plan provider for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls submitted.
*Work closely with HR to manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
