• Picking- I perform this function according to the information provided on the MRO/1348 document. Using a handheld RF device I scan the work order number, the product number (NIIN/NSN), the warehouse location, and manually input the required quantity. insuring the item is issuable. I'll inspect the condition of the packaging for: condition code, any applicable shelf-life codes, any special handling such as electrostatic discharge, magnetified, or any applicable warning labels.
• Stowing- I'll verify the work order stow ticket for: warehouse location, quantity, product number, and any special handling instructions and assigned work order number. if the warehouse location is not suitable because of batch numbers, weight and dimensions, owner ship codes, and condition codes. A bin-to-bin process will be done to find a suitable storage location.
