Fuel Tanker:
Safely transport fuel from distribution centers to various locations, ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tanker truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load fuel into the tanker at the source and unload it at the destination, following established procedures to prevent spills or accidents. Plan efficient routes and schedules to deliver fuel to customers on time while minimizing fuel consumption and optimizing delivery efficiency. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including the quantity of fuel delivered, delivery times, and any issues encountered during transportation. Flatbed Trailer: (First 5 Years)
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the flatbed trailer and its load to ensure it is safe and secure for transportation.
Load cargo onto the flatbed trailer, ensuring it is properly secured and balanced. Unload cargo at the destination, often using specialized equipment like forklifts or cranes. Use appropriate straps, chains, binders, and other securing methods to safely secure and stabilize the cargo on the flatbed trailer to prevent shifting during transit. Plan efficient routes and schedules, taking into consideration the size and weight of the cargo, as well as any permits or regulations for oversized loads.
