LA REYNERA – SR PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER (METALMECHANIC, PLASTIC INJECTION AND EXTRUSION) (6 months project)

I took part in a temporary project and was in charge of production, purchase and maintenance for plastic Injection & Extrusion and broom handle and improved every single KPI: Rate attainment, schedule attainment, cost per unit, scrap rate, deliver in time, absenteeism, turn over, etc.
Main achievements:
To improve injection performance from 60 up to 90% by implementing a hour by hour tracking for 87 injection machines allowing to stop down no more than 10 min to fix every single cavity if no chance to do that way then blocking it and keeping the mold running
To re use more than 80 tons in less than 3 months of Polypropilene of inventory by improving and increasing recycled usage regarding quality and fiber performance and keeping a daily track.
Saving more $400,000 mxn per year by improving (Turkish) Iron s supplier packing to reduce head and tail waste by using strips instead glue
FANAL - GENVAMEX PLANT MANAGER (Metalmechanic, Powder paint, galvanizing, plating, Machining die tools for zamak injection and stamping)Jun 2021 – May 2023, N.L.
Main Achievement: To improve machines efficiency more than 50%, brought a new project and started in less than one week a $124 800,000 mxn/year project with a 45% margin.

Main achievement: Scrap rate decrease from more than 5% up to 3 or les by implementing a preadjust procedure.

We moved this plant from L.A. to SLP and started up in a successful way one month before dead line.
