Manage the building of high performing supply chain operation team that, develop & initiate strategies that achieve rapid, measurable cost savings and maximizing business performance to maximize efficiencies of over 20%.

•Managed managers and individual contributors (on-site & remote teams) with a logistic budget ~$250 million/year.

•Designed and deployed logistic solutions in both warehousing & transportation modes that increased efficiency for a ~1 million sq./ft. operation in North American and Latin America in excess over $24 million dollars in Fixed Cost.

•Implemented lean operational processes that reduced cost by $2 million without customer disruptions.

•Created a strategic business plan with HPE sales force, finance, the customer’s account team and the carrier to deliver specialized products totaling $216 million on scheduled and under budget.

•Lead a team from Procurement, Planning and HPE suppliers to move more inbound raw material freight via ocean which stabilize and allowed HPE to schedule a more productive flow of raw material for operations which reduced shortages and need for air express shipments. This lead to a cost avoidance of approximately 25% or $6 million dollars.

•Transitioned the Materials planning team within Procurement which unified the Supply Chain organization and ensured better predictability for material availability for manufacturing.

•Generated daily, weekly & monthly reports from SAP to calculate financials based on forecasted/ actual consumptions. Reports were used to gauge with sales to ensure material availability and also advise shortfalls in demand.

•Responsible for monitoring & meeting goals: “Inventory”, “Ship to First Commit” & “Order Cycle Time”.

•Managed multiple outsource operations & negotiated a combine corporate savings >$1 million.
