Plant Manager-From August 2024 up to date at Success Mine in Hope Fountain and Inyathi in Bulawayo Duties

-Running 4 Cyanidation from BIF ores, crushed rubble and black quartz veins

-Constructing Cyanidation tanks from surface.

-Milling and crushing ores from various customers using round mill and hammer mills and recovering free gold through gravity.

-Performing smelting duties after 24 hours of running carbon loaded with minerals Achievements

• Managed to improve production from 60g/week to 120g/week by improving the following items: 1)Soaking tanks for 72 hours from 24 hours to improve residence time of solution with low grade ore. 2)Optimising pH to be at 11pH-12pH to increase effectiveness of CN 3)Adding peroxide after running a tank for a day to maximise oxidation for Cyanide reaction 4)Leached sulphide ores which were surrounding our gold and silver, I added lead nitrate to bind sulphide ions, creating a lead sulphide and preventing lead sulphide layer from building up around gold and silver. 5)Acid wash of newly bought carbon to avoid carbon tailing grammages. Managed to reuse old carbon by regenerating it by heating in vacuum chamber.

6)Fines or slime blended with river sand to allow solution penetration.

-Monitored the high-pressure boiler system and improved it by separating it into two system ie zadra stripping and electrowinning.

-Installed a boiler from scratch to functional position. Mine Planner-April 2023 to April 2024 at Ruia Mine in Mt Darwin.

-Familiar with heap leach pads from construction to irrigation.

-Supervised RC drilling for blasting and drilling evaluation holes

-Blasted surface benches

-Familiar transportation of ore from bench to heap leach stacking.

1. Managed to run CIP in Symoona Mine. Bottleneck was low recovery due to few leach tanks. Added 4 tanks in series

2. Managed to help artisanal miners in Mutawatawa with blasting vertical shaft by first drilling pilot using borehole machine.

3. Helped artisanal in acquisition of mining rights 4. Set a 0.5 tonne hoist on 45 m shaft by helping out from quotation to the installation. Skills
