Verify and ensure work is executed according to project specifications and standards, including material receiving inspections (MRI).
Conduct daily control and testing of instrumentation work. Conduct all I&C inspections with the customer, including: Pressure: Pressure gauges, pressure transmitters (PIT), pressure safety valves (PSV), pressure control valves (PCV), and pressure switches.
Temperature: Resistance temperature detectors (RTD), thermocouples (types K, N, L, I, J, etc.), temperature indicating transmitters (TIT), and infrared thermometers. Flow: Design, testing, and installation of flow meters (ultrasonic, differential pressure with orifice plate, turbine, Coriolis).
Level: Calibration of level indicating transmitters (LIT) (displacer, magnetic level gauge, pneumatic, pressure, float, plunger).
Conduct installation inspections of all I&C systems. Perform continuity and insulation testing for cables and test sealing (flushing and blowing). Conduct inspections of system detectors and panels for fire and gas detection. Perform site acceptance tests (SAT) for the distributed control system (DCS), emergency shutdown (ESD), and fire and gas (F&G) systems.
Verify and approve the preparation and follow-up of all inspection reports, up to final customer signature.
