In working for Walmart I had several position with in the company before I became a store manager. I started off as an assistant and worked throughout the entire store. However I spent most of my time over the auto care center. The auto care center had it own metrics to meet that were not included in store metrics. When I took this position the store was third worst in the company. The first step was to train associates and get the proper tools. Next was to ensure we had correct coverage and products to complete services l. Then I corrected and awards program to drive customers into the store. We were able to win the shop of the month 16 times in a roll and store of the year before moving up to co- manager. As co- manager job was to drive the standards of the store up. This included training and teaching associates. Talking with customers and doing follow up with management team to insure notes were completed.
