My role as a secretary is to liaise with the Community Engagement Coordinator with projects,
Chairing meetings, acquiring sponsorships, working with NGO's, taking minutes in meetings, events management.
I had to communicate with students on behalf of management about projects I had to give feedback to management about events and performance.
Data capturing, names of students and contact details, as well as sponsors, NGO's were put onto the system for communication purposes whether through cold calling or bundle messages via email.
I also worked on the database, organized transport and refreshments for students. I was also responsible for managing the students and the activities they were assigned to. I also had to come up with new projects for the students within the community.
