International Student Media Arts Festival: Representing their American university, Mass Communication students participated in the 5th International Student Media Arts Festival (ISMA) 2024 in Seoul, South Korea, from May 26 to June 1. Their entry, an interactive VR documentary titled "Shifting Tides," won first place in the film competition category. AURAK's student documentary Pearls of the Past, Seeds of the Future earned an Honourable Mention at the 15th Annual Zayed University Middle East Film Festival (ZUMEFF) 2025.
