APPLY thorough experience in areas of construction including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, steel, electrical, demographic surveys, carpentry, and masonry.
PERFORM preliminary on-site inspections to determine suitability of site for project.
CONSTRUCT cost analysis, administer budgets, and present bid proposals; negotiate and interpret construction contracts.
PROVIDE hands-on supervision of all union tradesmen and subcontractor workers; i.e., carpenters, iron workers, electricians, tapers, lathers, laborers, etc.
INTERACT with state and local agencies to provide required permits and appropriate inspections.
CONSULT with municipalities, institutions, building inspectors, state and federal construction inspectors, and developers on projects.
COMPLY with regulatory and environmental agency rules and regulations.
ENSURE quality control and effective material coordination and handling procedures.
IMPLEMENT cost-saving time controls and scheduling procedures.
COORDINATE and meet budget parameters/deadlines.
INTERFACE with general contractors, real estate developers, architects, engineers, building managers, construction trades, and vendors to implement design and structural modifications.
MAINTAIN excellent client, employee, and contractor rapport.
