Since coming on board as the COO for Green Wells Venture LLC, Mr. Netherton has run the business's day-to-day operations. Focusing on everything from managing construction contractors and different projects to upgrading the facility and preparing for this year's and next year's facilities and crops. Hiring and firing of staff, logistics, boots-on-the-ground training of staff, including trellising, defoliating of plants, SOPs, compliance, and purchasing of needed equipment. I also work with accounting to develop budgets and sales projections for this year's and next year's crops and the anticipated growth of this company.

@ CPS LLC / Double Black, Vertical Cannabis Operations 4 Years Turned around operations, achieving profitability for the company for the first time. CPS was losing millions annually, launched a new brand, Double Black, and built a new leadership team. Implemented technology changes, increased revenue, reduced COGS, and changed reporting. Grew company two-fold and facilitated selling of the company before exiting. Developed new products, changed product mix, & implemented a 22% price increase. Stopped making edibles to focus on concentrates, reducing costs on packaging and manpower. Changed growing techniques, media, and strains, improving average yield and flower quality. Designed and implemented facility upgrades and assisted in developing a new building concept for the next facility.

Focus on the cannabis industry in Colorado since 2009, when Colorado’s legal market opened—working in and consulting on the operations, tax, and compliance side. Mr. Netherton attended the University of Colorado in Boulder Business School with a focus on Business and Computer Science. Mr. Netherton managed and operated many businesses in his career in the tax and fintech space, having roles from Operations Management, CFO, VP of Operations, and CEO. Since the Cannabis Industry became legal, I have been working with and consulting with several cannabis grows, manufacturing facilities, and retail stores in Colorado, South Dakota, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Non Cannabis Highlights and Results

Crafted a new sales strategy and trained teams in execution, increasing revenue from $6M to $12M in 9 months for El Dorado as their Integrator and Consultant. Launched a professional services firm, growing it to $2.7M in its first year before selling the company. I was pivotal in the start-up and growth of Sierra Financial, from $0 to

$50M in annual revenue. Raised $30M in the capital, enabling the drilling of over 40 oil & gas wells in Texas with a company called Resource Opportunities before making a profitable exit for everyone involved.
