2025-Present I currently work for State University of New York at Oneonta. I am a Project Manaager who is respoasnible for managing a project from inception, to completion. I help define scope, budget and schedule, and try to keep effective communication between all parties. I interface with various state offices, and departments at the unniversit on a daly basis. I coordinate nd erqurest support from in house staff, and help in house staff in areas of my expertease. 2024-2025 I worked as the Assistant Engineering Officer for the Unites States Coast Guard Sector New York. I oversaw general maintenance of Sector NY campus facilities to include all Coast Guard owned buildings, grounds, and housing units. I coordinated and plannrd local minor maintenance work order efforts using Sector Engineering personnel and AFC30 funds, SSMR submissions to CEU Providence for major maintenance and shared maintenance projects with NPS IAWA signed ISSA. I provided engineering judgment/program oversight/technical support in advising unit commanding officers and OINCs for Sector New York subunits located at Staten Island, NY; Kings Point, NY; Bayonne, NJ; and Saugerties, NY. 2022- 2024 I worked as the Assistant Chief of Facility Engineering Service (FES) for the Coatesville, PA Veterans Administration Hospital. I helped to supervise the maintenance and operation of the facilities and supporting utilities. I supervised about 80 personnel including boiler plant operators, electricians, carpenters, painters, HVAC technicians, grounds crew and a fire department. 2021-2022 I worked as the Chief of Design for Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, MA. I supervised a staff of engineers and architects who managed design contracts and prepared the acquisition packages to procure engineering services. 2018-2021 I worked for the Unites States Coast Guard at Coast Guard headquarters, in Washington, DC. I manage the Sustainability Program, and also work on Shore Facility Operations and Energy Consumption. I administered responses to Freedom of Information Act inquiries, and have taken seminars to become familiar with Energy Service Contracts and Energy Service Performance Contracts.

I managed the design and oversaw the project management services provided to the Division throughout the State primarily by the New York Office of General Services. We supported the National Guard Armories and training sites throughout New York. 2014 to 2016 I worked as the Chief of Facilities Management Service for the Northampton, Massachusetts Veterans Administration Hospital. I managed the operation and maintenance of all aspects of the campus including electrical system, plumbing, medical gas, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, steam production and distribution, as well as interior design and painting. 2012 to 2014 I worked as Assistant Chief of Facilities Management for the Veterans Administration Hospitals in Connecticut. I managed several sections including construction, second shift, maintenance, plumbing, and grounds. I also worked as Project Engineer and managed the design and construction of several parking lots, the installation of new equipment, the remodeling of some hospital space, and other renovations to the hospital.

2011 to 2012 I managed the Town of West Boylston Department of Public Works. I interacted with various Town, regional, state and federal officials as a regular component of my position. I managed the maintenance of roads, parks, and Town owned shade trees. I also oversaw the collection and disposal of municipal trash and recycling, and the operation of the town sewage collection and disposal system. 2009 to 2011 I worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. I was in charge of completing the designs and construction of seven projects on the Gaithersburg campus. They range from replacement of several hundred fume hoods, to upgrades of air handling units, to the installation of photovoltaic cells, and building a residence that will produce as much energy as it consumes. 2008-2009 Unites States Army Corps of Engineers Resident Engineer for Fort McNair. I supervised a group of project officers who accomplished projects at Fort NcNair, Bolling and Andrews Air Force Bases, and other locations in the Washington, DC area. We completed and turned over a two hundred and fifty thousand square foot classroom and office building, and well as an access control point, and a physical fitness center. We had a road improvement project, water, sewer, and storm drain studies, and a paving project on the schedule for the following year 2006- 2008 I served as the Acting Chief and then the Chief of the Construction Management Branch of the Office of Research Facilities in addition to being a Supervisory Engineer for the National Institute of Health. I oversaw a group of engineers and architects who functioned as project officers for many of the improvement projects conducted at the Bethesda Maryland Campus. I also served as a team leader for a portion of the Construction Management Branch for my first year at NIH.

2005-2006 I served as an environmental engineer for the Veterans Administration at White River Junction, Vermont. I worked on compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations. I was responsible for permitting and environmental matters at the medical center.

2003-2005 I worked as the Water and Highway Superintendent for the Town Of Holliston. I was in charge of producing and distributing water throughout the town. I was also responsible for snow removal, maintenance of parks and fields, highway maintenance, and tree maintenance. I programmed budgets, allocated resources, and planned the work for these areas.

2004 I served as the Special Operations Command Central Command Staff Engineer. I managed and supervised the engineering design and construction of facilities to house, train, protect, and support our forces throughout the CENTCOM area of responsibility. We constructed ranges, renovated several buildings, constructed new permanent and temporary buildings, designed new structures, and extended utilities in several different locations. I managed and programmed future construction on several bases in different countries. 2001-2003 Superintendent of Public Works and Town Engineer for the Town of Swampscott, MA. I was in charge of highway maintenance, design, repair and snow removal, water distribution, sewage collection and pumping, parks, cemetery, and tree maintenance for the town. I represented the town with several regional and state agencies including the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, the Lynn Water and Sewer Commission, the Massachusetts Highway Department, and several parts of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. 1995-2001 Superintendent of Public Works and Town Engineer for the Town of East Longmeadow, MA, Department of Public Works. I was in charge of highway, water distribution, sewer collection and pumping, parks and tree maintenance for the town. I represented the town with several regional and state agencies including the Massachusetts Highway Department, various sections of the Department of Environmental Protection, the City of Springfield Water and Sewer Commission, and the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission Joint Transportation Committee. I was also in charge of snow removal for the town. I developed and implemented strategic plans for my department. 1992-1995 Director of Public Services for the Town of Ashland, MA. I was in charge of highway, water production and distribution, sewage collection and pumping, cemetery, park and tree divisions of the town workforce. I programmed and budgeted for the different departments, submitted and defended capital plans, managed water and sewer services, and compliance with regulations. I was responsible for the maintenance of all the town roads, and non-school buildings. 1990-1992 Program Manager for the Baystate Roads Program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. This technology transfer program is a cooperative effort of the Federal Highway Administration, The Massachusetts Highway Department, and The University Of Massachusetts. This program helped to keep local highway officials up to date on the latest technology and policy changes. 1987-1990 Superintendent of Streets for the Town of Montague, MA. I was in charge of all maintenance, construction, and design of all highway projects on a system of over one hundred miles of road, many of which were unpaved. I was also responsible for operation of the sanitary landfill, recycling program, and the maintenance and repair of all town owned buildings. 1975-1987 United States Army Officer serving in the Army Corps of Engineers. 1985-1987 Operations Officer for the United States Army Recruiting Battalion at Newburgh, NY. I coordinated, planned, and administered the enlistment program at the battalion level. I prepared, analyzed, and published enlistment statistics, provided market analysis to field recruitment force that was responsible for recruiting over 3000 personnel per year. I was responsible for enforcing recruiting standards for the battalion.
