• Set-up and operate Canon Varioprint 115, Xerox Versant 280, and older machines in the past.
• Preflight, File Repair (manipulation), color correction, layout, and variable data.

Determining print specs, working files into a printable version, color correction, repairing files according to customer or press issues, repairing font issues, and variable data postcards/brochures. Archive digital files. Prepare files for Xeikon presses. Also prepare, impose and send files to a color (Canon/Xerox) or black & white
(Canon) printer. Also, bindery work when prepress is slow or when hot jobs need help getting out; preparing kits, hand collating and folding, and any other help I can offer. 1997-2004 Mercury Print, 50 Holleder Pkwy, Rochester, NY 14615, ( Offset Printing. Burned metal plates from flats, process, check measurements and content. Prepared impositions using Preps, preflight of customer files, preparing files for offset printing using the above-mentioned software. Also helped in bindery when prepress was slow.
1993-1997 Thompson Professional Publishing (Formerly Lawyers Co-op) Closed Offset Printing. Used large paginator 70mm film cameras to photograph pages of books, and then loaded into paginator platemaker, program and burn plates on vertical platform format. Two years of this was using Creo machine to program layouts, preflight, program plate burning and checking plates for accuracy. Also helped in bindery area when work was slow.
