Project Site Manager/Investigation Oversight – NJ Transit PCB Investigation/Demolition, North Bergen, NJ: The submittal of a warehouse and manufacturing brownfield demolition work plan was developed and approved for an EPA based PCB delineation and sampling program with subsequent oversight of demolition of the industrial facility. Components of the work activities completed included the design of a spoils laydown area designation and segregation/disposal of materials for the reutilization of this brownfield site for a NJ Transit Passenger Station line. Protocols for storage and separation of PCB laden materials, as well as recyclables, was developed and implemented at the site. These standard operating procedures included inspection and mark out of possible PCB laden components (steel, concrete, piping and painted areas) for wipe sampling and capture lab testing.
