Roles & responsibilities: Right now, this project is under pre-shutdown phase and vendor quotation & detail scheduling is under progress. There is total 934 manpower’s required at the peak of shutdown. Planned activities are mentioned below which will be executed during shutdown.

Major activities which will be executed in this Project:

Piping fabrication and erection

Maintenance of equipment’s, such as Column, Heat Exchangers, Drums, Furnaces and Reactors

Catalyst replacement in 6 Reactors and 12 Drums

Complete Re tubing of 4 nos Heat exchangers

Replacement and overhauling of valves.

Title: Air Liquid Arabia

Designation: Shutdown Manager (Night Shift)

Duration: Aug’24 to Dec’24

Roles & responsibilities: Successfully managed and handled the turnaround with critical path and pre-turnaround activities on time in Train1 & Train 2 units as Shutdown manager with 900 inhouse manpower’s and 300 crews from different vendor including heavy lifting of Air Pre-Heater.

Pre-assembly and replacement of Air Pre-Heater of Train-1 & Train-2.

Removal with critical lifting of Heat Exchanger in Train-1

Maintenance of 20 Heat Exchanger and 10 Finfan

Roles & responsibilities: Managed as shutdown manager in this Turnaround with 1300 inhouse manpower’s and 350 venders crew in Acid and Gas unit of Sulphuric Acid Plant. Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Complete Maintenance, removal of saddles, spider legs, Acid filling and weld buildup as per QC recommendation of 3 Acid towers (DT, IAT, FAT) in SAP unit.

Replacement of 3 acid coolers

Maintenance of Acid circulation tank, Sea water filter, air filter and lube oil coolers.

Fabrication and erection of primary duct line (96 inch dia) as emergent job.

Cutting, fabrication and installation of welded bellow in acid unit.

Stack tip replacement, fabrication and erection in acid unit.

Replacement of welded bellow (size:3400 mm) in Gas unit.

Complete maintenance of Convertor in Gas Unit.

Complete Maintenance of heaters and secondary duct line in Gas unit.

Roles & responsibilities: Leading and managed in 1100 and 2000 area in OPD-2 unit as area manager with 350 manpower’s

Successfully executed 9 columns including critical path column.

Mellapack replacement and maintenance of 2 columns.

Complete tray replacement in 2 columns.

Maintenance of 102 nos heat exchanger including replacement of 8 nos exchangers.

Fabrication and erection of 2950 inch dia including alloy steel piping.

Overhauling and replacement of 600 valves in this shutdown

Line cleaning (87 loops) and line inspection executed successfully. Title: SAUDI ARAMCO REFINERY (RAS-TANURA)

Designation: Shutdown Manager (NIGHT SHIFT)

Duration: FEB’24 to MAR’24

Roles & responsibilities: Successfully managed and handled critical path activities on time in 3 units as night shift project manager with 580 inhouse manpower’s and 135 crews from different vendor. Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Complete maintenance of units J06, J58 & J78 in major turnaround

Executed full tube replacement of Reboiler which is the critical path.

Complete maintenance including refractory for Furnace in J06 Unit.

Complete replacement of radiant tubes, fabrication and erection of transfer line of furnace in J06 unit.

20 Nos Heat exchangers have been replaced and maintenance of 30 nos exchangers, 28 fin fans in this shutdown.

Catalyst replacement of 2 reactors.

Complete maintenance of 60 Nos. drums

Fabrication and erection of piping activities (2200-inch dia)

Designation: Shutdown Manager

Duration: DEC’23 to JAN’24

Roles & responsibilities: Leading and managed Shutdown as shutdown manager in night shift of Thermal Gas unit with 280 inhouse members and 75 crews from different vendor. Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Replacement of heat exchanger.

Complete maintenance of 18 Heat Exchanger 6 vessels

Fabrication and erection of 1200 inch-dia of alloy steel piping in shutdown phase.

Complete maintenance of furnaces.

Title: SAUDI ARAMCO MOBIL REFINERY (SAMREF-YANBU)

Designation: Shutdown Manager

Duration: JUNE’23 to NOV’23

Roles & responsibilities: Leading the mega Turnaround in T5 block with five different units FCC/HRU/MDU/USGP/LPG/SLOP. We executed this Turnaround with 900 inhouse manpower’s and 225 MP from different vendors.

Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Fabrication of Piping job around 2000 inch-dia in pre-shutdown phase.

Replacement and Re-assembly of all components of REGENERATOR in T2 block.

Executed more than 100 Tie-ins jobs in this shutdown.

Replacement of 900 Tubes in FCC condenser.

Maintenance, Hydro-jetting, testing of 52 Heat Exchanger.

Maintenance of 48 Vessels with weld build-up as per QC recommendations.

Complete Maintenance of 09 columns whereas Tray replacement in 02 columns.

Complete Maintenance of 03 heaters in MDU area.

Installation of Goggle valve in FCC unit.

Duration: April’23 to MAY’23

Roles & responsibilities: Leading and managed Shutdown of Plant 2 unit with 300 inhouse members and 90 crews from different vendors.

Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Complete Maintenance of Waste Heat Boiler, Thermal Reactor and Steam Drum.

Maintenance 28 Heat Exchanger, 40 Fin-fan in Unit 2 Platformer.

Maintenance if 16 Vessel and 3 Heater.

Title: SAUDI ARAMCO RIYADH REFINERY

Designation: Shutdown Manager

Duration: Feb’23 to March’23

Roles & responsibilities: Leading and managed Mega Turnaround of 4 unit’s HYDROGEN, PLATFORMER, HYDROCRACKER and CRUDE with 700 inhouse members and 180 crews from different vendors. In addition to the base scope, 28 emergent add-on equipment’s (10 Exchangers, 2 Columns, 6 Finfan bank replacement, 4 Heaters and 6 Vessel) with critical works had been successfully executed without impacting the schedule. Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Maintenance, Hydro-jetting, testing of 68 Heat Exchanger and 20 Vessels with weld build-up of 16 Heat Exchangers as per QC recommendations.

Designed scaffolding has been erected on crude column (68-meter height)

Replacement of 30” overhead line (crude column to fin fan) within 10 days.

Replacement of 20” Transfer line in Hydrocracker unit

Tray replacement of 2 columns in hydrogen unit.

Refractory, sand blasting works in 6 Heaters including emergent scopes.

Replacement of Heat Exchanger in Hydrogen Unit.

Title: SAUDI ARAMCO JUBAIL REFINERY (SASREF SRU-3) Designation: Shutdown Manager

Duration: Dec’22 to Jan’23

Roles & responsibilities: Leading and managed the shutdown of SRU-3 unit with 450 inhouse members and 150 crews from different vendors.

Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Maintenance of mixer, Furnace, vessels, Reactors and exchangers including refractory replacements.

Maintenance of Sulphur Pit and replacement of inside Coil inside pit.

Removal/Installation of 200 CV/RV’s

Roles & responsibilities: Executed the Piping MOC Job including Existing exchanger replacement in Reactor Kill, CTO Flash Heater and propylene unit with 350 members.

Executed more than 150 welded tie-ins joints including live lines with hot tapping in 20 days of shutdown window.

Removal of 42” pipe spool (7nos) in 2 shifts for back puffing in Turnaround phase.

Roles & responsibilities: Executed the revamp construction works and performing the regular maintenance / turnaround works required for the plant. Title: Rabigh Refinery & Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) Designation: Project Engineer

Duration: March’20-May’20

Roles & responsibilities: Worked as a Project Engineer for Maintenance of static Equipment (Heat Exchangers, Vessel, Columns) and Turnaround for Piping MOC works for CS, SS and Alloy steel at Monomer Unit. Major activities which are executed in this Turnaround:

Maintenance, Hydro-jetting and testing of 102 Heat Exchangers and 48 Vessels.

Cleaning, Hydro-jetting and Tray replacement of 13 Columns.

Fabrication and Erection of P-91 Alloy steel Spools. Title: Saudi Kayan (Sabic)

Duration: Feb’20-Feb’20

Roles & responsibilities: Worked as a Project Engineer for this shutdown. This Turnaround was a real challenge with the mobilization of more than 850 Manpower with Subcontractors. 636 Line item has been handled in this TA and achieved 200 thousand safe Man Hour and handed over both EOEG/EGDMC plants safely ahead of schedule with complete satisfaction of SK management.

Removal & installation of 48'' piping spools with real Challenger of 10 hours with 500 Ton Crane

Removal & installation of 251 PSVs, 120 control valves, 55 Motors & including critical lifting

Roles & responsibilities: Worked as project engineer at Aromatics Unit in IBN RUSHD on 18 different Columns, 4 columns having existing tray removal and new tray installation. Also including 349 tie-ins points. Their pre-fabrication and Erection work. Nozzle installation on different portion of the column.
