Roles & responsibilities: Right now, this project is under pre-shutdown phase and vendor quotation & detail scheduling is under progress. There is total 934 manpower’s required at the peak of shutdown. Planned activities are mentioned below which will be executed during shutdown.

Catalyst replacement in 6 Reactors and 12 Drums
Complete Re tubing of 4 nos Heat exchangers

Duration: Aug’24 to Dec’24
Roles & responsibilities: Successfully managed and handled the turnaround with critical path and pre-turnaround activities on time in Train1 & Train 2 units as Shutdown manager with 900 inhouse manpower’s and 300 crews from different vendor including heavy lifting of Air Pre-Heater.

Complete Maintenance, removal of saddles, spider legs, Acid filling and weld buildup as per QC recommendation of 3 Acid towers (DT, IAT, FAT) in SAP unit.
Replacement of 3 acid coolers
Maintenance of Acid circulation tank, Sea water filter, air filter and lube oil coolers.
Fabrication and erection of primary duct line (96 inch dia) as emergent job.
Cutting, fabrication and installation of welded bellow in acid unit.

Replacement of welded bellow (size:3400 mm) in Gas unit.
Complete maintenance of Convertor in Gas Unit.

Roles & responsibilities: Successfully managed and handled critical path activities on time in 3 units as night shift project manager with 580 inhouse manpower’s and 135 crews from different vendor. Major activities which are executed in this Project:

Executed full tube replacement of Reboiler which is the critical path.

Roles & responsibilities: Leading and managed Shutdown as shutdown manager in night shift of Thermal Gas unit with 280 inhouse members and 75 crews from different vendor. Major activities which are executed in this Project:
Replacement of heat exchanger.
Complete maintenance of 18 Heat Exchanger 6 vessels
Fabrication and erection of 1200 inch-dia of alloy steel piping in shutdown phase.

Duration: JUNE’23 to NOV’23
Roles & responsibilities: Leading the mega Turnaround in T5 block with five different units FCC/HRU/MDU/USGP/LPG/SLOP. We executed this Turnaround with 900 inhouse manpower’s and 225 MP from different vendors.
Major activities which are executed in this Project:
Fabrication of Piping job around 2000 inch-dia in pre-shutdown phase.
Replacement and Re-assembly of all components of REGENERATOR in T2 block.
Executed more than 100 Tie-ins jobs in this shutdown.

Duration: Feb’23 to March’23
Roles & responsibilities: Leading and managed Mega Turnaround of 4 unit’s HYDROGEN, PLATFORMER, HYDROCRACKER and CRUDE with 700 inhouse members and 180 crews from different vendors. In addition to the base scope, 28 emergent add-on equipment’s (10 Exchangers, 2 Columns, 6 Finfan bank replacement, 4 Heaters and 6 Vessel) with critical works had been successfully executed without impacting the schedule. Major activities which are executed in this Project:
Maintenance, Hydro-jetting, testing of 68 Heat Exchanger and 20 Vessels with weld build-up of 16 Heat Exchangers as per QC recommendations.
Designed scaffolding has been erected on crude column (68-meter height)
Replacement of 30” overhead line (crude column to fin fan) within 10 days.
Replacement of 20” Transfer line in Hydrocracker unit
Tray replacement of 2 columns in hydrogen unit.
Refractory, sand blasting works in 6 Heaters including emergent scopes.
Replacement of Heat Exchanger in Hydrogen Unit.
