Responsible for intakes, assessments based on biopsychosocial history, screening, case management, referrals, conducting educational groups, developing treatment plans with goals and measurable objectives, as well as individual sessions. Responsible for supervision of inmate peer counselors (CIT) jackets and training jackets. Reviewing all SATP and TC files to maintain ADAP AND ADC policy standards in the substance abuse treatment program. Interview, select and instruct inmate peer counselors and provide continual supervision and guidance in solving substance abuse related problems of inmates. Interviews applicants, screen files, and approve inmate applications for substance abuse treatment program and assign clients to peer counselors. I orientate clients to program activities, rules and requirements, gather intake information, and develop treatment plans, and schedule program activities, groups and classes. Supervision duties including graduating clients, and completing anger management certificates and signing final clinical paperwork. Signing CIT’s up for appropriate workshops to fulfill requirements for CADC testing, present training's.

Responsible for recruiting teens, marketing program, meeting with public and parents to discuss curriculum of program and benefits to the children. Also encouraged community volunteerism in community from youth and working with non profit organizations. ADC training policy requirements met
Volunteer: National Multiple Sclerosis Society Arkansas chapter since April 2011
I am on the committee for the MS society; making phone calls to recruit for MS walk Central Arkansas every April. I am a team captain and fund-raise to support the efforts for a cure to MS. In addition the society helps patients with referrals to neurologists, programs to help paying for medications, information on different medications, and purchasing wheel chairs and other DME equipment. The society also offers scholarships, and financial help to MS patients
