Comprehensive nursing care.
Admission procedure and nursing assessment.
Maintenance of good interpersonal relationship.
Assessing, planning, implementation and evaluating condition of patients.
Administration of medications as per doctor's order. Complete hygienic care and positioning of patients. Preparing and assisting the physician in performing procedures like central line insertion, chest tube insertion, endotracheal tube insertion, tracheostomy, bone marrow aspiration, arterial line insertion, ascitic fluid tapping, bedside scopies, lumbar puncture. Collection of sterile specimens like blood, urine, stool, sputum, tracheal secretion and taking 12-lead ECG.
Check airway, breathing and circulation.
Hemodynamic monitoring such as CVP, ABP, PICCO,EVD. Performing procedures like nasogastric insertion, foleys catheterization, IV line insertion, bladder irrigation, tracheostomy care, wound care, tracheal suctioning.
Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, skin care, perineal care, catheter care, invasive line care, diet planning, chest physiotherapy and health education.
Transfusing blood and blood products.
Maintaining all records and files including inventories through computerized documentation.
