RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning Needs Assessments: ensuring that the Competency Gap Assessment (CGA) was conducted to determine the learning needs and gaps of nursing staff in order to tailor and deliver the BCNC Program effectively.
• Program Development: designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive learning programs that address the specific needs and goals of nursing professionals.
Training Delivery: ensuring that the interactive theory sessions and bedside mentoring are carried out on the wards for nurses and nurse aids to complete the BCNC curriculum.
• Curriculum Development and Delivery: organize and deliver the BCNC curriculum to learners, adapting session plans based on learner levels under the guidance of the Pedagogical Manager
• Evaluation and Feedback: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the BCNC Program through quality of care assessments and audits, learners’ satisfaction surveys, and providing feedback to ensuring continuous improvement in quality of care.
• Collaboration: Working closely with nursing leadership including the Head Nurse, Deputy Head Nurse, the Nursing Team Supervisors, Quality of Care Nurse and other stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
