My career has been customer orientated from day one. Working my way up through the retail chain into a management position.
Most recently I was with an international transportation company. I excel in meeting and exceeding my customer’s expectations.
I am self disciplined and can work in a team environment. My positive attitude is carried in all the work I do and is contagious among my peers. I am very details oriented and take pride in my work. Myself and my family recently relocated to BC as my partners current job moved us here. Work Experience:
2023 to 2024 – RSB Logistic
Customer Service & Projects Coordinator
● The projects and customers I primarily worked with shipped Class 7 Radioactive materials
● Attention to detail, data entry, discretion, focus on safety, excellent communication and ensuring schedules and expectations were met were essential to this position
● Duties include reading customer schedules, updating existing orders accordingly
● Entering new orders
● Ensuring all customs paperwork, dates, order numbers and all details are accurate
● Working with dispatch and planning to ensure timely pick up and delivery of all customer orders
● Fill out information for several customer reports, sending daily, weekly and monthly reports to customers accordingly
● Read, reply and prioritize customer emails and requests
● Compiling customs paperwork for dispatch to distribute to drivers
● Working with customers to provide updates, ensure that their needs, deadlines, expectations and schedules are met
● Communicating service issues and delays to the customer and working with dispatch and planning to come up with resolutions
● Working with ship line ETA’s and scheduling accordingly
● Booking pick up and delivery appointments
November 2018 to 2023 – RSB Logistic
Dispatcher
● Duties include dispatching and tracing drivers
● Completing all computer work involved in completing each drivers dispatch from pickup, border crossing to delivery
● Communicating service issues, delays, mechanical issues etc to the sales/customer service and assisting with resolutions to issues with the rest of the operations department to ensure that communication with the customers is clear and up to date
● Answering phones, speaking to drivers and assisting each driver with questions and issues as they arise throughout the day
● Assisting drivers with customs clearance, speaking to both Canadian and US Customs when needed in order to ensure freight is customs cleared and is able to be taken across the border without delay
● Tracking drivers progress throughout the day making sure that on time service is met, speaking to drivers if they appear to be delayed or seem to be having issues and assisting in resolving the issues
● Ensuring that drivers mileage is entered into the system correctly to ensure that they are paid accurately
● Entering in additional pay sheets for drivers to cover additional pay for detention, as well as accessorial pay
● Carrying an on call phone on a shared time basis with the other dispatcher, taking after hours and weekend calls from drivers to assist with emergency situations Education:
