With a degree in dietetics nutrition, and experience in food service and Public Health I am looking to gain experience in food preparation and services. As a Sanitarian II I completed the training course Environmental Health training in Emergency Response. I received a 4.0 exceeds expectations on my annual review. Typically completed more inspections than required for the monthly quota.

SANITARIAN I, CITY OF HOUSTON
Began employment with the City of Houston assigned to Area 402 following training. During training, I completed the following: FDA courses and passed all required exams. Following release from training, I passed all QC inspections, exceeded all monthly inspection production numbers; changed my schedule to accommodate the opening hours of businesses in my area; was receptive to and implemented all constructive recommendations made by my supervisor (Misty, Jerry, and Remonda); and Studied Specialized Processes to assure business compliance. Chose to work during the months of November and December to supplement personnel shortages. Some of that included working overtime. During that time, I completed approximately 181 inspections including some that were past-due.

SANITARIAN I, GALVESTON COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT
Maintained the largest inspection territory in Galveston County comprised of 340+ permitted establishments. Those inspections included: Change of Ownership; Restaurant and pool construction; Routine inspections and Foodborne Illness; and Pre-Opening/Opening. Met all requirements and deadlines for inspections and reports. Obtained Registered Sanitarian License # 4999. Collaborated with the Assistant Manager on the development of a training manual for the department along with becoming the Head Trainer of new employees for routine food establishment inspections. Maintained effective and professional communications with establishment owners and managers to ensure understanding of the regulations to achieve cooperative compliance.
