Fifty one (51) years of professional experience in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.
Three (3) first years working in erection, commissioning, startup and operation of hydroelectric projects.
Following seventeen (17) years in the pulp and paper industry, responsibilities include electrical and instrumentation maintenance, project management, project design, auditory and installation.
Following fifteen (15) years have been working as General Manager of my own company, dedicated to electric, mechanical and instrumentation industrial services
(design, auditory and erection).
Twelve (12) years working in the Oil & Gas Industries, in charge of station and pipelines engineering, installation and maintenance.
One and a half (1,5) years working as Electric Project Engineer in the Wastewater rebuilt project, Municipality of Cali, Colombia.

a) High voltage systems (115 – 220 kV)
Project Engineer, High voltage overhead transmission lines to interconnect Yumbo - 115 kV and ISA-220 kV substations. Central de Anchicayá (1971) Electric Audit Engineer. Alto Anchicayá 220 kV substation installation, Central de Anchicayá (1971 – 1972)
Project Engineer. Design and Installation, 110 kV utility transmission line and main substation 110 – 34.5 kV, 100 Mva. Smurfit Cartón de Colombia (1989 – 1990). b) Hydroelectric projects and substations
Electric Audit Engineer. Alto Anchicayá hydroelectric plant, 340 Mva. Responsible for coordination and supervisory of the installation of three Francis turbines 115 Mw each one, three power transformers 13.8-230 kV and auxiliary equipment. Start-up and testing. Central de Anchicayá (1971 – 1974).
Chief Assistance. Calima Plant (120 Mw). Responsibilities include operation, maintenance and personnel management, 32 people. Central de Anchicayá (1974). c) Pulp and Paper Industry. Smurfit Cartón de Colombia Paper machine installations
Project Engineer. Responsible for electrical and instrumentation design, equipment selection, installation audit and startup. Main equipment includes a Westinghouse electronic helper drive system, main and distribution substations, 4160 and 440 volts MCC s, steam boiler 80.000 #/hr, steam line-shaft turbine. Paper mill produces 60.000 ton/year of corrugated and kraft liners from 125 to 360 gr/m2. (1974 – 1976). Electric and instrumentation maintenance
Maintenance Engineer. Responsible for pulp plant maintenance. Plant includes three wood chippers, twelve batch and one continuous digester, two kraft and one semi- chemical pulp plants, two chemical recovery systems. Maintenance crew includes 8 supervisors, 20 electricians, 6 instrumentalists and 32 helpers. (1976). Maintenance Superintendence

Paper Machine # 6 rebuilt. Complete paper machine rebuilt, electronic system replacement, new Allen Bradley PLC’s, new Siemens DC drive system, Accuray paper machine computer, Fourdrinier press section, dryers addition, calendar, rewind and winder. Mill produces 75.000 ton/year of fine paper grades 35 to 90 gr/ m2
Paper Machine # 4 rebuilt. New DC Drives, size press, calendar, Accuray system and infrared dryer.
Minor projects: Joy compressors, askarel transformers replacement, boilers ash handling system, water clarifier, etc.
Project Manager
Boilers instrumentation revamping. Installation of a Foxboro DCS multistation control system.

Pulp and bleaching plant Foxboro videospec control system replacement. d) Oil & Gas Industries and Projects
From August to December 2009, at Barrancabermeja Ecopetrol Oil Refinery Company, in the position of Chief of the Technical Office, in charge of the Engineering at site, planning and control of the HDT Project.
From January 2010 to June 2012, at Bogotá, in the position of Engineering Coordinator working with the UTPA, company dedicated to services to the oil & gas industry, in the construction of the oil and nafta oleoducts PPG (Pozos Colorados-Galán) and PA
(Sutamarchan-Apiay).
From June 2012 to December 2016, as Chief Engineer in the Bicentenario Oleoduct Project, in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of an oleoduct, the most important project of Ecopetrol.
e) Wastewater Plant
From January 2017 to March 2020, as Electric and Control Project Engineering at rebuit of the wastewater plant of Cali municipality.
f) Industrial Plants
From June 05 2023 to July 15 2025, as Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer, The Mosaic Company, New Wales Plant, Mulberry, Florida, USA g) FDC INGENIERIA LTDA.
