I have a problem! I'm not a young man but I am a man with a lot of business and aero space experience.
I spent some time in the Air Force and then came home and went to work as a C&C machinist. After about 5 years running that machine I started designing aircraft parts and tool parts for Weston Hyd. While I was designing things I went back to college and got my Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing and received some honors awards. When I graduated I was recruited by The Broadway Dept. stores as an asst. manager. After 1 year I was promoted to a buyer. I stayed at Broadway for 3 years and then I went to Akron stores as a buyer for 4 years. Being a buyer was a great job. I increased business at Akron 20% and received a nice raise. The Akron went out of business after that and I decided to open my own business. I called it Tradewind Marketing. The first year we did 3 million. We were helping small businesses get off the ground and selling Ad Specialties to companies and colleges. While I was running my own business I was asked to teach at UCLA business school. I loved the teaching. I went to work at 7:30am and went to teach at 3:30pm. I did that for almost 20 years and loved it. I am now looking for a job I can enjoy and really get into.
Well that's about it. Oh, one more thing. I graduated from California State University, Northridge. I'm a VALLEY BOY!
