Full time position. I am Administrative Support Assistant for the Comprehensive Breast Unit. My duties include meeting and greeting patients as they enter the office. The answering of phones, transferring calls to correct associates, as well as customer service representative for patients. As customer service representative I help patients with information regarding their charts or testing needed. By using Sorian Financials, I make, cancel or reschedule appointments for specific doctors, verify insurance and enter any patient information as needed. I set up charts with forms for the patients to complete then scan completed forms into Impact Scan. I also take patients insurance co-pays through the HealthPay system. Other duties include the input of referral information into the eCare system as well as retrieving referrals as needed through insurance websites or doctor’s offices. I also do billing, such as referrals, self pay estimates and verify insurance eligibility.
