To Whom It May Concern,
Please consider this letter of introduction as an expression of my interest in employment opportunities within your company. I graduated from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I graduated May 2021 from John Brown University, with a Master’s Degree in Education. I am certified to teach 4-8 Social Studies and English Language Arts. Additionally, I am currently completing the K-6 Elementary Praxis exams, with completion of those exams this Fall. This additional endorsement will broaden my instructional opportunities, so that I will also be certified to teach in the elementary setting as well.
Enclosed is a copy of my resume that describes my work experience in the Banking and Supply Chain Management Industries, as well as my experience working within the classroom setting. As my resume indicates, I was employed as an Operations Administrative Analyst where I was responsible for supporting the CHEP pallet repair facilities with queries on resource inventories and production, acted as a safety net for trouble shooting product and inventory variances, as well as assisted the Director of Operations with balancing and reconciling the pallet and lumber inventories for each site. It was always my ambition to work in education, but it was not until having a child that I decided to pursue that dream. While completing my Master’s degree in Education, I worked as a substitute teacher for the Van Buren school district. There I gained knowledge and teaching techniques in the classroom. While my studies at UA Fort Smith provided a solid educational and practical foundation in current business processes, my studies at JBU have provided me with not only the principals of becoming an educator, but also a knowledge base that goes beyond the classroom. These principles that I have learned include, leading by example, collaborating and working with staff and students, as well as establishing a solid foundation of trust and relationship building with students, that ultimately creates a love of learning.
I would welcome the opportunity for a personal interview. If you require additional information, please contact me at the above address or telephone number. I look forward to meeting you soon.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Amy Kuykendall
