Objective

As USDA AMS Dairy Audit Services Team Lead Auditor, I have brought an enormous amount of knowledge and business qualities to this department assisting in developing and improving this program. I have been with USDA AMS Dairy Program since 2002, and I would like to further my career branching out and challenging myself with new endeavors.

·Key Leader in developing and implementing USDA AMS Dairy Program Dairy Audit Services, verifying each Auditor’s work performance and production is meeting the department’s standard operation procedures, guidelines, and requirements.

·As the Team Lead, I am responsible for the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of procedures, techniques and instructions related to the review of plant records in the dairy industry. I provide technical support and oversight of Record Review Specialists to ensure program uniformity.

·Embrace the culture of Quality Management System (QMS) in overall audit operations and responsibilities.

·I am responsible for serving as team lead for audit program in a manner that exemplifies service and enhances the image, effectiveness and credibility of USDA, AMS, and the Dairy Program

·Audit and evaluate export health certificates issued by USDA Dairy Export Department, Washington, DC to confirm and validate dairy products exported from the U.S. are complying and meeting the requirements set forth by the specific exporting country.

·Promote customer service by training each Auditor personally, to provide customer and stakeholders with the same auditing assistance and explanation during the audit review. During an audit review, as Lead Auditor, I educate Auditors on dairy audit services knowledge and materials.

·Maintain a close relationship with dairy industry and stakeholders on a weekly basis informing them of any changes or questions that may arise during export process of dairy products.

·Lead staff and colleagues on all necessary training to continue our goals and success.

·Train new and seasoned Auditors on dairy auditing techniques and updates.

·Inform and disseminate USDA AMS Program staff any updates to Dairy Audit Services program department.

·Construct, implement, and update standard operating procedures and guidelines.

·Organize and Lead staff meetings weekly, virtually.

·Manage monthly staff assignments and goals allocated to Audit team.

·Report Auditor’s work status, performance, and audit production to the Supervisor on a weekly basis.

·Write and implemented the entire Standard Operating Procedure guidelines for USDA AMS Dairy Program Dairy Audit Services. Review and approve audit reports to ensure precision and accuracy detailed in the Standard Operating Procedures prior to submitting to the billing department.

·Assign and schedule audit work to auditing staff utilizing different technical software programs, Word, Excel, PDF, SharePoint, Zoom, Teams, etc.

·Analysis and finalize all official audit working documents, billing statements and audit reports.

·Encourage and support each audit team member to complete their audits in a professional and timely manner. Promote audit production goals, in return increasing audit production revenue for USDA AMS Dairy Program.

·Assist Supervisor and higher management with customer and stakeholder questions and issues.

·Assist Supervisor with Employee performance concerns.

·Completes work assignments in accordance with applicable guidelines, including time frames, assuring a quality of work that meets the needs of the Dairy Program’s Dairy Grading and Standards Division (Division).

·Ensures all responsibilities are conducted fairly, meet established procedures and guidelines, and are completed within established timeframes.

·Assigns audit reviews in accordance with Division policies, procedures, instructions, and guidelines.

·Provides technical supervision, and coordinates reviews to assure completion of requested audit reviews in a timely manner.

·Accurately and thoroughly evaluates and documents audit reviews for compliance with standards and specifications.

·Perform Dairy plant inspections at USDA approved facilities.

·Gather salmonella samples at dairy plants throughout the United Sates.

·Operate and manage testing of Agricultural Commodity dairy product to calculate final USDA Grade status for dairy products, specifically butter and non-fat dry milk powder.
