THE GIANNA’S VOICE FOUNDATION, INC
Senior Director, Compliance & Regulations (Dec 2017 – present, AS NEEDED)
A Non-Profit Organization, which I filed corporate papers to originate, to help spread awareness about and prevent teen suicide.
My current position remains Senior Director, but we are connected now to state and federal programs, from Tennessee to Indiana, and this is basically on autopilot (since Covid) unless we are asked to talk to a church or school. This would usually be evenings or on weekends.
“As needed” means filing compliance documents and tax papers; approving new members.
CLIENTS FIRST CONSULTING Atlanta, GA (Telecommute April 2014 - Dec 2017)
Investigated and prepared Strategic & Competitive Intelligence Reports for various law firms across the United States, reporting both legal and financial standing and future risk, with SWOT Analysis if requested, and if or when patents are pending or granted. Also profiled all executives and the board members.
I also covered that company's competitors. These reports were very detailed and confidential, some as large as 200 pages or as small as 20. I also prepared Industry Reports for law firms so they could build a strategy on whatever their cause. I prepared these reports on my own with the help of SaaS.
Some reports I prepared were on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Smuckers, Celadon, JB Hunt, McKesson, Nestle, Phillips 66, Eli Lilly, GE, Kraft/Heinz, Duracell, St. Jude and many more, plus startups.

Paralegal/Legal Assistant (Oct 1986 – Dec 1999)
Executive Assistant/Paralegal to Senator Bray’s solo Law Practice and assistance provided for Business of Legislature and Constituents, 13 plus years. I have connected him with and trained my replacement twice, the last one still there.
Senator Bray was Counsel for Various Areas of City & County Government, including the Sheriff's Department and County Commissioners, and also counseled the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. We worked with the Secretary of State establishing new corporations or maintaining regulations. He maintained a solo legal practice consisting of litigation in Criminal Law, Probate and Estate Planning, Real Estate Law, Dissolutions, Custody and Adoption, and many other areas of General Law. I prepared and filed many tax documents and annual reports, personal and probate.
Note: Between 2000 – 2007, while in college and caring for my ill father, I worked at a 600-capacity club in the college town of Bloomington, IN, a few nights a week while my children were young. I started as a waitress/bartender and left while in management. Everyone left because the club was closed and torn down. Owners failed to pay taxes for years. I also free-lanced as a paralegal and was a sub for paralegals taking vacation or maternity leave in the Indianapolis area. Some of these dates may overlap. In all areas of my work, I have been in customer service which I enjoy and am great at it!
