Summary
Working in the Maintenance, Repair and Operations space of Inventory Management for the past 44 years. Mostly with Intermat who was bought by IHS in 2005. One of the original group who started with INTERMAT in 1980.
Worked with many different industry verticals specializing in the data cleansing and data enrichment space.
Created a spare parts classification schema that organizes parts description content to be stored parametrically in EAM and ERP systems such as SAP, Maximo, JD Edwards, Oracle, MP2 and Asset Suite.

Spent 15 months developing a Project Manager Playbook to train new Project Managers in how to manage description optimization projects for IHS. Previously as a Sr. Manager of Projects and Project Consultant managed description standardization projects to manipulate spare parts data to import into EAM and ERP systems in an organized and parametrically stored layout for easy searching and avoidance of duplicates. Considered an MRO Materials subject matter expert. Responsible for development of an MRO Materials Classification schema (Taxonomy) for spare parts descriptions which provided description templates, guidelines, sample values and definitions for over 2,500 different class/subclass combinations in all disciplines for all industry verticals.
