Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for efficient and effective management of assigned borrowing accounts in the maintenance of quality loan portfolio following target markets.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
CREDIT PROCESSING
-Conducts initial interviews/client calls/plant visit on borrowing accounts
-Evaluates applications and request for renewal/re-availment of credit facilities
-Prepares the appropriate credit transaction media in accordance with the guidelines per RAMM, CLPand PPL manuals and CPS memos, for review of the Area Credit & Marketing Officer (ACMO) and approval of the Credit Committee
-Assist in the packaging credit facilities appropriate to borrower's needs/purpose, particularly line renewals and loan re-availments/extensions of existing clients
-Assist in soliciting new borrowing accounts and developing deposit relations with existing borrowing accounts
-May be designated as a member of the Area Credit Committee to recommend/approve loan applications and requests for DAUD/BP accommodations
-Makes sure that the required documents for approved credit facilities are duly signed, properly accomplished and complete prior to any release of loan proceeds, and initials the security/support portion of the transaction media to signify review of the documents
ADMINISTRATION
-Reviews at least semi-annually assigned borrowing accounts for profitability and compliance with terms and conditions
-Reviews term loans on review date by accomplishing the term loan checklist and preparing the appropriate transaction media for approval by the Credit Committee
-Reviews periodically all documents in both assigned accounts for compliance to RAMM/CPS memos- Prepares account plans on assigned accounts at least one (1) month before the renewal date of credit lines or maturity date of specific loan transactions
-Checks Account Profitability Analysis and Financial Spread/Memos prepared by the financial analyst and credit reports
-Conducts and documents client calls and plant visits
-Other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned 1
REMEDIAL MANAGEMENT
-Follows up collection of long overdue loans of assigned accounts, and prepares collection reports and account status sheets to record movements of the accounts and action plans to regularize accounts - Reviews assigned accounts with past due loans for possible restructuring to assist the client in finally liquidating or regularizing the accounts, and prepares the appropriate transaction media required by CPS
-Classifies, reclassifies and declassifies assigned borrowing accounts following guidelines per RAMM and
CPS memos
-Prepares appropriate transaction media re-endorsement of adversely classified/deteriorating accountsto Remedial Management Unit for appropriate action
-Prepares requests for write-off of uncollectible accounts
