GVB Biopharma: (May 2019 to July 2021)

Vice President of Engineering responsible for all corporate engineering functions related to the growing, expansion of facilities (new and existing facilities), maintenance of facilities (process and utility systems for processing hemp and hemp by- products) in accordance with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies (i.e. USDA, FDA, OSHA, EPA, SWRB, AQMD, Environmental Health, State Fire Marshall, etc.). Reporting to the COO, CEO and President of the company to ensure company goals are achieved. In May 2019 the company had (1) processing facility, today we have

(4) facilities located in Oregon, Nevada and Columbia. A 5th facility is scheduled to open in September-October 2021. Our company is one of the largest vertically integrated hemp processing company in the nation. Our products are: CBD, CBG & CBN oils; Tinctures; Creams; Salves; Gummy Products; Hard Pills; CBD Pet Products; Vapes and new products under development. The Coromega Company: (February 2017 to July 2019) Plant Manager responsible for all facets of manufacturing omega-3 fish oil supplements, protein products and pre-workout energy products. Primary responsibility was to ensure the facility could support the projected growth by doubling production capabilities, improve production efficiencies and support R & D for developing new products for production. Also responsible for accomplishment of capital projects in accordance with all regulatory agencies (FDA, USDA, OSHA, AQMD, EPA, etc.).

Maggay Engineering: (March 2012 to January 2017)

Owner of newly started business to provide engineering and manufacturing consulting services to the food processing industry (i.e. dairy plants, bakery plants, meat plants, snack plants, beverage plants, Mexican food plants, Asian food plants and seafood plants. In addition, provided facility management services to colleges, universities, health care facilities and pharmaceutical campuses in accordance with local, state and federal agencies. In November 2014 I accepted a 2 year temporary position to accomplish capital projects for Land O Lakes (a cheese plant) in Orland, CA. The original contract was to accomplish a $22 million dollar capital budget plan over 3 years. $18 million dollars worth of capital projects were completed in 2 years (completed assignment in December 2016).

Academy Engineering: (April 1989 to December 2011) Owner of an engineering business that operated for 22 years. Company provided consulting services for engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, operations, team building, regulatory compliance, efficiency surveys, energy conservation surveys, purchasing, environmental engineering services, equipment prototyping, equipment refurbishment, machine shop services and lean manufacturing services. Project engineering services included modifications to facilities, utility systems and process systems. Provided due diligence services in evaluating potential acquisitions. Closed business on 12/31/11. Alex Foods: (June 1986-March 1989)

Vice President responsible for the operations, engineering, maintenance, method improvements, inventory control, purchasing, safety, regulatory compliance, energy conservation and profitability of (5) manufacturing facilities with sales over $750 million/year. Products manufactured were Mexican foods, pizza, raviolis, salsas, corn dogs, chili, salads, deserts, breakfast items and snack items. Processes included cleaning, cutting, cooking, cooling, rolling, freezing, packaging, casing, labeling, palletizing to finished goods inventory and storage. Utility systems included refrigeration systems (mechanical and cryogenics), steam, condensate, pneumatics, hydraulics, chilled water, wastewater, electrical, controls and filtered water systems. Sara Lee Corporation: (January 1983-June 1986)

Corporate Director of Engineering responsible for all facets of engineering for (4) meat processing facilities including design, fabrication and installation of numerous types of process systems and utility systems for the efficient manufacturing of cured and cooked meat items; participated in the due diligence process in determining the feasibility of acquiring companies for expansion. Responsible for hiring, training / development of the engineering team; Develop and manage maintenance budgets of $3 Million & Capital Budget of $100 million and all purchasing actives associated with successful management of these budgets. Carnation Company: (June 1979-January 1983)

District Engineer responsible for the development and implementation of the capital budget for (7) dairy plants. Projects ranged from simple plant modifications to major expansion projects. The annual capital budget ranged from $125 Million to $150 Million for the seven facilities. Responsible for the design of process and utility systems, equipment selection, purchasing and installation of the equipment / systems. Products produced were milk and all the milk by-products

(ice cream and novelties, yogurt, cheese, butter, whipped cream and fruit drinks). Ralston-Purina: (July 1976-June 1979)

Facilities Supervisor promoted to Project Engineer developed and implemented a preventative maintenance system for a 100,000 square foot tuna cannery and responsible for the operation and maintenance of a DAF wastewater system. Accomplished various capital projects to improve productivity, reduce downtime, reduce labor, process method improvements, regulatory compliance and energy conservation. Processes consisted of thawing, cooking, cleaning, canning, retorting, labeling, casing, palletizing to finished good storage. Products produced were Chicken of the Sea Tuna; Purina Cat Chow, fish oil and fish meal.

United States Navy: (1973-1976 active duty) (1976-1984 reserves) Ensign promoted to LTJG promoted to LT while on active duty; Qualified Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW); Qualified Officer of the Deck (OOD); Participated in the largest helicopter evacuation in the history of the United States during the evacuation of Saigon. Promoted to LCDR in the naval reserve.
