Hands-on field experience and qualification in: reading and working to blueprint specifications, coordination and deconflicting associated site trade work to include carpenters, welders, painters, masonry, and concrete workers. Additional experience in; field design, as built drawings, work and material estimation, calculation of load balance and circuitry requirements, planning and routing of commercial conduit raceways. Specialized in all phases of commercial wiring from planning through completion to include control wiring and schematics. KISD EXPERIENCE

February 1, 2019- February 28, 2024 (retired)

Construction Project Manager

Hired as Construction Supervisor over several projects of construction for Killeen Independent School District. I read blueprints, did school and construction site evaluations for multiple projects for KISD. I was also responsible for setting up all funding for many of these projects. I coordinated all aspects of these jobs with individual contractors, my immediate Supervisor over Construction Services for KISD and the Executive Director of Facilities Services for KISD. Along with setting up the funding for many projects, I did cost analyzing comparisons for all work under my supervision in order to justify the costs to the district for work done by contractors. I negotiated many times with contractors in order to reduce construction costs in order to keep the projects under budget.

August 1995 – January 31, 2019 Master Electrician assigned to KISD trade group responsible for overall electrical maintenance requirements related to all buildings, athletic facilities, and complexes operated by the Killeen Independent School District. Interact with trade groups (i.e. Carpentry, welding, concrete, plumbing etc) to complete assigned projects. Respond to service calls, support new electrical work requirements and advise management as appropriate for all situations that need their attention or approval. Interact successfully with school personnel at different levels from office administrators to district superintendent.

Managed ZIP Car Wash, a service-oriented business grossing $400K annually. Responsible for all aspects of the business operation to include: hiring, training and releasing of employees, maintaining record of all accounting activity, direct control of daily monetary transactions and expenditures as required, conducted competitive pricing analysis, and advertising. Additionally, responsible for repair of all equipment to include: welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, mechanical and unique commercial equipment. Directly responsible for all customer interaction and complaint resolution.

1976 - 1990 Electrician

Employed by Bartlett Electrical Company. Responsible for all electrical work related to single, multi-dwelling and commercial structures to include control wiring. Coordinated electrical aspects of projects with representatives of all trades, including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC, masonry, dry wall, and concrete. Licensed as a Journeyman two years into employment. Responded to service calls, planned and installed new wiring and related circuit panels. Maintained position as Site Foremen overseeing the work efforts of up to 8 personnel. Served as electrical lead for numerous projects of special note:

Was subsequently promoted to Assistant Manager and within 14 months became the youngest Store Manager in the Southwest Region. Responsible for managing inventory, cash receipts, and the hiring, and training of employees.
